The Atherton Tablelands, Far North Queensland

Bull kauri pine

One of two bull kauri pines, ancient giants believed to be more than 1000 years old. Towering over the canopy, they are 50 metres tall and have a trunk diameter of 2.7 metres, along the walking track around Lake Barrine, a crater lake and National Yungaburra, Queensland.
