Shkodra, northern Albania’s regional capital

Xhamia e Plumbit

The Xhamia e Plumbit (Leaded Mosque) on the land that used to be the town centre, but was abandoned in the early 19th Century after an earthquake caused the Drin river to change course and flooded it. In the background the Kalaja e Rozafatit (Citadel of Rozafat) 3 kilometres south of the present centre of Shkodra.
