Albanian Kingdom, 1943

After Italy surrendered to the Allies in 1943, German troops occupied the country and on 20 October that year the Constitution of 1928 was re-established and the pre-1939 flag re-adopted, although in a 1:2 proportion with the eagle emblem shifted towards the hoist. Albania under Nazi Germany existed within the borders set by Italy in 1941 which included Kosovo among others.
