Kabul, the Capital City

Pul-e Khishti mosque

The main mosque in Kabul is the Pul-e Khishti mosque, here seen from a bridge over the Kabul river in the centre of the old city. It was built in the late 18th Century, but largely rebuilt in the late 1960s.
